My name is Mary Moeschler. My undergraduate degree is from Creighton University with a B.A. in German and English. I received my Masters degree in English from the University of Washington, Seattle. I taught at Forest Ridge, a Sacred Heart school, in Bellevue, Washington, for twenty years. While there, I served as Head of the Middle School (Grades 5-8) and taught as a high school English teacher. One of the highlights of my years at Forest Ridge was the opportunity to serve on the School Committee from 1983-1990. Our family moved to Omaha in 1991, and I began to teach English at Duchesne in 1992. In 1996, the Omaha archdiocese named me Archdiocesean High School Teacher of the year. I also had the opportunity to serve on the Sacred Heart Commission of Goals for six years. Presently I chair the English department and teach 9th graders and AP seniors.
