Ms Harrison graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1994 earning a Bachelor of Science in Education with a social studies endorsement. In 1996, she was awarded the prestigious James Madison Memorial Fellowship, which allowed her to pursue a Master’s degree in teaching with a minor in United States constitutional history and political theory. In addition, Ms. Harrison has many hours of post-graduate studies in the European roots of American history and politics, including studies abroad in London and the Netherlands.
In August 1998, Ms. Harrison joined the History Department and has taught all four levels of required history at Duchesne. She is currently teaching Modern European History and four independent study electives: We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution, Child Psychology, Art History and Sociology.
