| Mr. Krier was born in Sioux Falls, SD. After spending several years living in St. Louis, MO and Houston, TX, his family moved to Tulsa, OK. He considers Tulsa his home town, and he is still an avid fan of his alma mater's football team. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in secondary education from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 and a Master's degree in 20th Century European and American history from Ohio University in 2007. He taught courses in American and world history in public schools in Houston for seven years and courses in world history at a Catholic college-preparatory school in Houston for six years. As a teaching assistant at Ohio University he helped teach and evaluate students in various undergraduate courses in American and European history. He came to Duchesne in 2006, and he is currently teaching 20th Century United States history and United States government courses. He is also the faculty sponsor for the yearbook, the mock-debate team, and the law club. He is also the head junior-varisty soccer coach. |
