FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

A Duchesne Academy education is a major investment in your daughter's future. We stand ready to assist families to meet this commitment through the use of our financial aid program. In doing so, we carry out one of the goals of Sacred Heart education, "the building of community as a Christian value." In return, we seek families who will make this educational experience a first priority, both in their budgeting of financial resources as well as their time.

Duchesne Academy is committed to need-based financial aid. In addition to annual scholastic achievement scholarships based on entrance exam scores, the financial aid program is based on a family's financial situation. The program offers a reduction in tuition subsequent to an agreement between parents and the school that the student will contribute a given number of hours of service during the summer months and/or the school year.

To determine need, Duchesne uses the on-line services of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment in Lincoln, Nebraska. This simple-to-complete online report, along with a copy of your current federal income tax return (Form 1040) and earnings statement, are submitted to FACTS. Completed applications are then presented to the Financial Aid Committee which makes the financial determination of whom to aid and how much aid to grant. Duchesne makes every attempt to fund as many requests as possible.
