ANNUAL APPEAL

The Annual Appeal is extremely important to Duchesne Academy. It helps to strengthen the foundation on which the School was founded as we continue to build toward its future. We have broken our annual appeal into three different drives; the Alumnae Drive, Parent’s Drive (Current Parents) and Friend’s Drive (Friends and Former Parents). In the fall of each year, everyone receives the Duchesne Today which typically includes our calendar of events, alumnae, reunion and school news, as well as our annual report. Inside this piece contains an envelope for your first opportunity to give to the annual appeal. Your participation at this time makes a huge difference as it can immediately benefit the students, faculty members, programs and school. The dollars raised go directly into the operating budget and are typically used the same year they are received. 

Throughout the year, Head of School Sheila Haggas, the Development Office, current parents, alumnae and friends will continue to communicate to our extended family about the annual appeal through letters, phone calls, a spring appeal, phone-a-thon and end of the year newsletter. The vitality of this appeal depends on all of us, and we appreciate your gifts, in any amount toward this effort. 

For 2008 – 2009, our goal is to raise $260,000.
