BOOK SALES

Duchesne contracts with Specialty Books, a subsidiary of Nebraska Book Company, for annual on-line book sales. The book list is posted by Specialty the first week of July at Specialty Books. Students and parents may access the list at that time and purchase books using the class schedule mailed home in June. Used books will be available and Specialty has assured us that they are careful to screen the used books to ensure they are in fair condition. New in 2010, families may also choose to rent their textbooks from Specialty. Purchases or rentals can be made using credit cards or Specialty Books will also accept checks and money orders though this method of payment will delay shipping by a few days. All orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

• Duchesne does not require that families use Specialty books.
• Students must have all required textbooks on the first day of school.
• Used book sales and rental returns take place on-site each spring.

Please note: Used book sales occur following finals in May. Rather than cash, students are paid with a pre-paid Visa card. Activation of the card will require a cell phone number to receive the PIN.
