A day in the life of...

As I walk into Duchesne each morning, I am met by a flood of familiar sights and voices. The streets outside of the building are quiet, but the student hallway is always filled with a unique, unmatched energy. Groups of students are all around. Some are talking and laughing with friends; others review their notes in preparation for the day. A few upperclassmen pull out their laptops, and freshmen compare progress on their latest art projects. A once blank page of my assignment notebook begins to fill up with tonight's homework.

A day at Duchesne is one of prayer and tradition. Laughter can always be found around every corner. There is always a sense of community. The entire school comes together for masses, prayer services and Sacred Heart traditions, not to mention lunches and countless breaks between classes. We are constantly encouraged to grow closer to our peers, and are challenged to grow intellectually, spiritually and emotionally. Duchesne is my home. And my classmates are my sisters.
