retreats

Retreats are made possible through the efforts and energy of the students!  If you are interested in helping on a retreat team please

contact Ms. Linden in Campus Ministry.

PLEASE NOTE: All students are required to attend one retreat each year.  Please note the date of your assigned retreat.  If the unavoidable arises and a student is unable to attend her assigned retreat every effort will be made to get her on another school retreat.  Due to limited accommodations on some retreats it may be necessary for students to make up the retreat through another venue.  See Ms. Linden if you foresee a conflict!

The Prayer Retreat (Overnight)

Friday Feb. 15th- Saturday Feb. 16th

3pm-3pm

Location:  Camp Kitaki,  Lincoln

Come spend a couple of days in nature away from the phone and computer and learn about a whole different way of communicating!  Prayer can be playful and fun, quiet and reflective, whimsical or practical.

Our relationship with God has its ups and downs and needs time and nurturing like other relationships in our lives!  Come spend some time talking and listening to God.

This retreat will offer you the opportunity to explore different types and methods of prayer.  Speakers will focus on the nature and role of prayer in our daily lives.  You will have time for quiet personal reflection and group sharing.  Prayer experiences will include imagination based prayer, scriptural prayer, contemplative prayer and prayer in action.  This retreat will be held in a beautiful setting and the activities and speakers are geared towards students interested in developing and deepening their own prayer lives.  Evening prayer under the stars, food galore and no early starts!

Search Retreat (Overnight)

Fri. March 6th- Sat. March 7th
