SUMMER READING

 

All students are required to read one book for English class and one book as an all-school read during the summer that will then be discussed and analyzed during the first weeks of the school year. Students are also required to complete a second reading assignment for their science class; this reading is not due until January and may be completed during Christmas break. Required summer reading for the 2009-2010 school year is:

** We realize that many of you will have already read this book in eighth grade.  However, we ask that you reread, or refresh yourself, because the study and approach of this book will be very different from that of grade school.
