Independent Study Electives

Independent Study Electives allow students to survey several of the “other” social sciences not required for graduation from Duchesne.  Independent study courses are open to Juniors and Seniors only.  After an introduction to familiarize students with principles, terms and concepts of the specific course, students create a portfolio of projects that have been determined with the aid of the independent studies director.  Two of the four available courses will be offered each semester.  (Students interested in theses courses for next semester or next year, please see Ms Harrison in room 116 for further details and/or click on Course Name for sample assignments and readings.)
