For 125 years Duchesne has offered students an extraordinary preparation for college and for life. A foundation grounded in the five goals of Sacred Heart education. Duchesne offers a college-preparatory academy for young women in grades 9-12 and a preschool for girls and boys. As a small school with an enrollment of less than 300 in the academy and 75 in the preschool we offer a personalized approach to education where teachers know students by name and the friendships formed between the students last a lifetime.
Founded in 1881 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart, Duchesne was built on the belief that educating the whole child is essential. At Duchesne we are dedicated to providing students with a rigorous yet supportive atmosphere to develop moral, spiritual, social and intellectual lives.
