Grading Scale

Duchesne is committed to ensuring that every student is presented to colleges and scholarship agencies in her best possible light.

Beginning with the Class of 2023, Duchesne adopted a 4.0 GPA scale. It will recognize the rigor of AP and Honors classes with a .5 addition for honors and 1.0 addition for AP classes to the 4.0 scale in lieu of the added points currently in place. It is important to note that colleges review a student’s transcript in the context of her high school’s academic program. This change in our grading scale will be fully explained on our school profile page which will be edited in the fall.
