Who We Are
Duchesne Academy educates young women to be active participants in their own development. Rooted in Sacred Heart values, we provide a safe, loving place for them to learn how to evaluate complex matters with poise and discernment.
Admissions
At Duchesne, girls support girls. Research proves girls who attend an all-girls high school arrive on a college campus more confident, better equipped with strong study skills, and are more motivated to improve their communities than peers who attended a co-educational school.
Academics
Empowered to question. Equipped to lead. We are preparing our students not only for college, but for a lifelong pursuit of faith, understanding, and wisdom.
Arts
Courage, confidence, and creativity. Students have a wide array of courses to choose from. Instructors create unique experiences that are flexible to tailor the interests of students.
Athletics
Athletics and academics go hand-in-hand at Duchesne Academy. 75% of students participate in at least one sport, creating a culture of teamwork, Sacred Heart sisterhood, leadership, and strength both on and off the field.

As we curate a deliberately intimate class size, all of our students receive individual attention and a sense of belonging. We are dedicated to preserving our traditions while evolving to serve the women of the future — always mindful of our goal to educate well-rounded leaders for the world.

Congé

Congé (pronounced con - jay) is Duchesne Academy’s annual fundraising event.

Save the Date!
Congé 2027 will be either Saturday, January 23rd OR Saturday, January 30th.
(Date will be confirmed in September when the full Creighton Men's Basketball schedule is announced)

The first Congé was celebrated in 1977, and in January 2027 we will celebrate 50 years of Congé at Fairmont Fifty: A Jubilee of the Heart! This momentous event will be celebrated in the new Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ, complex on Duchesne’s campus, and will feature a cocktail hour, sit-down dinner, auctions, raffle, entertainment, and more! We will be honoring all past Congé Chairs at the event, and celebrating the past, present, and future generations of Duchesne students. Please plan to join us!
