Volunteer Recognition Awards

Duchesne Academy honored two outstanding women for their contributions to our community during a Volunteer Recognition Event in April.
Très Bien Award: Amy Beehner Roland A'92

Amy Beehner Roland A’92 has been an active volunteer with the Parent Association for several years. She served as Co-President for the 2024-25 school year, while simultaneously chairing Congé with her husband Larry. Amy co-chaired the Mother Daughter event in 2023. The event centered on setting a beautiful and festive table for family, using pieces of Duchesne china at each seat. This sustainable decision meant Amy and her co-chair, Kelly Jeffreys, were responsible for hand washing dishes for 175 guests.
Amy is a Senior Technology Attorney for HCA Healthcare, Inc., a hospital company based in Nashville, Tennessee that cares for patients across 190 hospitals and approximately 2,400 ambulatory sites of care in 20 states and the United Kingdom. Amy’s practice is focused on AI and the Digital Transformation and Innovation occurring at HCA.
Amy and her husband Larry have five children: Dottie A’21, Jack, Addy A’26, Max, and Beatrice PreK ’25.
Merci Beaucoup Award: Kay Doyle

Keiko “Kay” Doyle is the current Chair of the Duchesne Board of Trustees, and this May she will complete her sixth and final year on the Board.
Over the years, Kay’s support of Duchesne has been nothing short of amazing. As chair of the Board of Trustees, Kay facilitated the strategic planning process for the Academy and Preschool, while simultaneously guiding Duchesne’s selected core team through the SHCoG (Sacred Heart Commission on Goals) accreditation process. Kay’s expertise ensured the successful implementation of initiatives from both of these key processes. Further, Kay’s faithful leadership, generosity of spirit, and gift for bringing people together have been integral in the success of Duchesne’s Capital Campaign—the largest in school history.
Kay is the principal for Oui Coaching and Consulting. She facilitates strategic planning processes and helps businesses and organizations implement sustainable changes.
Kay and her husband, Jon, have five children Rachel A’12, Jon, Brendan, Elizabeth A’19, and Claire A’21
