Say "I do" at Duchesne

In 2024, the Archdiocese of Omaha gave Duchesne Academy permission to hold Catholic weddings in the chapel for the benefit of alumnae and current faculty and staff. Because Duchesne is first, and foremost, a school, the below are requirements set forth by the Academy:

  1. Weddings may be scheduled pending the school calendar, school activities, and with the permission of Duchesne administration. Weddings are not scheduled during the month of August.
  2. Couples may request a wedding date through an inquiry form found below. Couples must complete paperwork required by the Archdiocese for all Catholic weddings.  Couples who wish to marry at Duchesne must follow the policies and requirements established by the Archdiocese of Omaha
  3. Duchesne has established a venue/cleaning fee of $2,200.00 (including a $500.00 refundable damage deposit),  that must be received prior to the wedding date being officially reserved.

Wedding dates are first come, first served. To book an official date with Duchesne Academy, the couple must fill out the necessary paperwork with the Archdiocese after completing this form. Once we receive approval from the Archdiocese, then we will secure your wedding date. An on-site coordinator will be in touch to confirm details.
