The BOCH Festival brings more than 300 high school students from across Nebraska and the Midwest to work with nationally renowned clinicians.
“I am thrilled that we have nine students participating in this year’s UNO honor festival. These students will be in the Band, Choir, and Orchestra ensembles. I am excited to sit in on their rehearsals, watching them participate and work with professional clinicians. I am also eager to learn from these clinicians and bring back some new ideas to incorporate into my classroom," said Music Director Katrina Pierce.
This unique experience will culminate in a performance at the newly renovated Strauss Performing Arts Center on the campus of UNO.
"I am very proud of these students and their accomplishments as being some of the best musicians in the state and look forward to watching them make great memories this upcoming weekend,” Pierce said.
