Meet the Athletic Director
I firmly believe that athletics are an integral part of the high school curriculum. Student-athletes learn values and character traits that will carry them far beyond their high school careers. Hard work, unselfishness, humility, and teamwork are just a few habits instilled in athletics that will help them in the classroom, the workforce, the Church, and in their families.
The premier college prep education offered at Duchesne comes with a challenging workload. We value our students’ time and are dedicated to providing the best coaches and facilities possible. Our student-athletes are able and want to compete at the highest level possible. Duchesne is a place where young women can be their best and have a stellar experience both in the classroom and on the court, course or field.
Duchesne’s athletic program is informed by Sacred Heart values. To quote the Network Communications Director, “…Our athletes recognize that their gifts come from God and are not to be wasted….and that through the Goals and Criteria, Sacred Heart students have a foundation fostered in self-discipline, accountability and responsible decision making – all of which cater to producing a disciplined student and athlete.”
