If your daughter is planning to play basketball, please join us for a player/parent meeting in the Duchesne gym on Monday, May 4th at 6:00PM. Coach McCormick will go over the summer basketball schedule. He will also share his coaching philosophy and player expectations. Please park along Burt Street, 38th Street, or 36th Street and enter the building through the gym doors.

Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is excited to announce Sam McCormick will be the next head basketball coach. McCormick has been a middle school math teacher with Elkhorn Public Schools for the past seven years and has a passion for coaching and teaching students. McCormick has been part of the Elkhorn South girls basketball coaching staff for the last three years. He also coaches middle school football, boys high school golf, and girls club basketball.

The Cardinals fell to Waverly 47-54. Duchesne's season record was 9-12 before facing off against Pius X on Valentine's Day.

The Cardinals celebrated a close victory against South Sioux City on Thursday. Duchesne came out on top by one basket, defeating the SSC Cardinals 57-55.

The Cardinals celebrated a big win against Roncalli on Tuesday 50-34. Jada James was the game leader scoring 21 points. Miriam Samuelson came in a close second with 14 points.

Duchesne moved up in the Nebraska state rankings this week. In the RCC tournament, the Cardinals defeated Roncalli with the highest score of the season, winning 71-28.

Duchesne took some tough losses this week against Skutt and Gretna East. The Cardinals will face Roncalli at home on Tuesday.

The Cardinals are ready for action after two tough losses last week. Tomorrow they'll face off against Skutt at home.

The Cardinals had a top-notch week on the court with four major wins!

DASH fell to the Benson Bunnies 38-57 in the OPS Invitational on Dec. 6th. Jada James A'27 posted seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. Adele Patch A'27 put up three points and six boards. 

James was mentioned in the Nebraska Prep Zone's "Player to Watch" earlier this month.
