This group formed spontaneously after students attended one session at the Culture Fair. Students realized that many of them could crochet or knit and found it relaxing. Those who learned to crochet that day were interested in becoming more proficient. From a desire to relax and a desire to learn something new, a club was born.
This club will meet informally in the Fitz on Thursday and Friday mornings. Members will knit or crochet their own projects OR beanies or blankets for area hospitals and NICUs.
Donations of yarn and knitting needles or crochet hooks of any kind are welcome! You can send donations with your student or drop them at portry. Photos of amazing projects coming soon!
