Please consider joining our Fine Arts Booster Club to help build a support system for our music, theater, visual, and STEAM arts!

First off, the good news! No in-person meetings with the large group! Our core team has had our initial meeting, and the rest of the meetings will be on Zoom, email, or text, depending on the subcommittee. 

Most parents gravitate towards the subcommittees of activities their child is involved in, but if you have a particular passion for an area, feel free to jump in there as well. 

Here are the subcommittees and a brief description of what they are working on this year. There is some overlap between these subcommittees, and we all pitch in for the Soup Dinner and Fine Arts Banquet as day-of volunteers.

• Fundraising -  This would include, but not be limited to: 

  • Concessions at plays and musicals
  • Inaugural Soup Fundraising Dinner prior to Fall Concert - Fundraising Subcommittee to start collecting updated wish lists from teachers for funding tree (Christmas giving tree concept).
  • Conge Silent Auction Items - Need a Fundraising subcommittee member to take this on and come up with bundles to present to the group to approve for Conge. 
  • Silent Auction, raffle during Fine Arts Banquet
  • Raffle to underwrite workshops
  • Brrainstorming new ideas

  Marketing & Communications - Working with school representatives on all Booster Club items like playbills, concert programs, inserting information into Burt Street News, advertising our fundraisers and more.

  Theater - Fall play and Spring Musical help with VIP seating, concessions, and more.

  Music (Choir, Band, Strings) - Designing t-shirts for Fall grade school tour, support groups for Districts, All-State, and Honors Festivals.

  Visual Arts / STEAM - The visual arts and STEAM teachers have not expressed their wants, but it would be nice if there was a liaison to help encourage them to think "BIG" about how we can help their departments. Soup Dinner & Fine Arts Banquet - This would include help with marketing, facilities, food ordering, and table decor.

The good news is that some of these items are one-time only, or they are spread throughout the year. The time commitment is around 10-20 hours for the year, depending on the subcommittee.
