A Bold Step into Sophie’s Kitchen

Beginning May 1 MCL will start work on creating a new commercial kitchen and serving area. We can’t wait to see what Chef Joel will do with lunches when we a real kitchen!

Because of the construction, the last lunch served in Sophie’s Kitchen will be April 30. The lunch pass prices are good through April 30.

We are pleased to announce that House of Bah Catering will cater lunch four times in May. House of Bah provided gouter for our culture fair and was a huge hit with the DASH community. They have agreed to come back for lunches. Dates for these lunches are: May 4, 6, 8, 11.

These lunches will be priced between 7.00 and 10.00.  Students will need to purchase a goFan ticket for each day they plan to eat the catered lunch. Ticket sales will be open in April and close on April 30 so House of Bah has an accurate count of lunches to be served.

Students will get the lunch options and ticket links in an email.  This information will also be shared in the BSN the first week of April.

What does my student do if they don’t choose to buy a lunch from May 1-11?  Microwaves, refrigerators and the snack bar will still be available.  So students can bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch items from the snack bar.
